Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 10, 2026.

This policy explains what information DAEMONS ("we", "us") handles when you use the website at daemons.art and its subdomains (including the Underworld app), and the DAEMONS Discord bot. We collect as little as we can, and we do not sell your data.

1. The DAEMONS Discord bot

The bot runs only in Discord servers where it has been installed (currently the official DAEMONS server). To provide verification, roles, welcomes, help and scam reports, it processes:

• Discord user IDs, usernames and display names, and your account creation date (used to turn away brand-new accounts that are often spam).
• Server membership and roles: when you join or leave, which roles you have, and roles you add or remove (for example, picking your DAEMON form). It assigns the Verified role when you pass verification.
• Verification details: whether you passed, failed attempts and lockouts, your Discord app language (locale), and whether you accepted the server rules.
• Messages: the bot can read messages in channels it has access to so it can respond to and moderate the server. It only keeps a record of messages posted in the verification help channel, where a short excerpt and link are posted to a private staff-only moderation log so the team can help you.
• Commands and reports: when you use /report, the details you type (who contacted you and what they sent) go to the private staff log.
• Welcome messages: a record of when you were last welcomed, so you aren't welcomed twice.

The bot does not read your direct messages with other people, does not track your online status (presence), and does not collect your email, IP address or payment details.

2. The website and app

• Wallet addresses: if you connect a wallet, we see your public wallet address and on-chain activity (for example, mints, edits and burns). Blockchain data is public and permanent; we can't change or delete it.
• Waitlist and updates list: if you join, we keep what you give us, such as your X handle, profile picture, chosen influence type, email address, and referral information.
• Art you create: images you make or upload in tools such as Paint or Dark Room may be processed to provide the feature.
• Basic analytics and logs: our hosting may record standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and to keep the site working. If we use analytics, we use it in aggregate to improve the site, not to sell or build advertising profiles.

3. How we use information

To run, secure and improve the Services; to verify members and stop spam and scams; to assign roles and reply to requests; to send launch updates you signed up for; and to follow the law.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Services (such as Discord, hosting and email providers) under their own terms, when the law requires it, or to protect users from fraud and abuse. Moderation logs are visible only to the DAEMONS team.

5. Retention

• Bot operational logs are rotated automatically and kept only for a limited time.
• Moderation log entries and reports stay in the private staff channel as long as needed for safety and moderation, then are removed when no longer needed.
• Bot state (such as welcome records) is kept only as long as needed for the feature to work.
• Waitlist and email data is kept until launch updates end or you ask us to remove it.
• On-chain data is permanent and outside our control.

6. Your choices and deletion requests

You can leave the Discord server, remove form roles at any time, unsubscribe from emails, and disconnect your wallet. To ask what data we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, contact us (see below) with your Discord username or ID, or the handle or email you used. We will act on reasonable requests within 30 days, except where we must keep data for safety or legal reasons. Data held by Discord or X is governed by their own privacy policies.

7. Children

The Services are not meant for anyone under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Discord also requires users to meet its minimum age.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect data, but no system is perfectly secure. We will never ask for your seed phrase or private keys.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. We'll change the "Last updated" date above, and big changes will be announced on X or Discord.
